Claudia received her PhD in Bioengineering in 2004 from the University of Bologna, after having carried her research at the University of Rome “Foro Italico”. In 2013 she joined the University of Sheffield, where she became a Professor in 2019. She is currently the Executive director of the Insigneo Institute for in silico medicine.
Claudia’s research focuses on the biomechanics of human movement and on the definition of experimental and modelling techniques for the clinical assessment of an individual’s locomotor and postural abilities.
