He received a PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Brescia and a Master Degree in Computer Science from the University of Milan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESEARCH FIELD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-sheets-value=\"[null,2,&quot;Artificial Intelligence, Computational argumentation, Uncertainty representation and approximate reasoning, Decision support, Automated diagnosis, Multi-agent systems&quot;]\" data-sheets-userformat=\"[null,null,513,[null,0],null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,0]\">The main research interests are in the area of methods, models and tools for the design of information systems, semantic-based and web-based services and systems, and databases.
