Computer-assisted surgery (CAS) represents a surgical concept and set of methods, which use the enabling technologies of information engineering for surgical planning and to guide or perform surgeries. The course aims to give the foundations relating to the specifications of the CAS systems, paying attention to tracking technologies, planning solutions, multimodality management, and the implementation of the intervention (also using robotic technology).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
