My name is Giorgia Polidori, I am from Fano (PU) and was born on October 10, 1998. I started my studies by attending the Biomedical Engineering course at Universt\u00e0 Politecnica delle Marche, but then I varied my career by attending the Biotechnology course at the University of Urbino, earning my Bachelor’s degree in December 2020. I then obtained my Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology in January 2023 at Sapienza University of Rome.<\/p>\n

RESEARCH FIELD<\/strong><\/p>\n

The goal of the research project is to build an ion-selective sensor through a special 3D printer, Aerosol
\nJet Printing (AJP). This involves monitoring of ions of our interest and applicability in different areas, such
\nas monitoring of particular diseases, water, soil and air monitoring. Interoperability of the sensor is
\nensured by the different structures and chemical characteristics of the ion-selective membrane, which
\nallows selectivity of the electrochemical cell.<\/p>\n
