I hold a Master\u2019s degree in Mathematics and Statistics for Life and Social Sciences from the University of Trento and completed a research traineeship at University College London.\n\nMy academic path has focused on applying quantitative methods to medical research. During my studies, I worked on mathematical modelling in cardiovascular physiology, fractal analysis in medical imaging, and computational models of biological systems. I later worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Brescia, where I contributed to projects in clinical neuroscience and neurodegenerative diseases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESEARCH FIELD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My PhD project focuses on the multimodal study of neurodegenerative diseases through the integration of different sources of clinical and biological data.\n\nIn particular, the project combines:\nPlasma and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers, including synaptic, inflammatory, amyloid, and neurodegeneration markers;\nDigital biomarkers, such as gait and motion parameters derived from wearable sensors and digital assessments;\nNeuroimaging data, including structural and quantitative brain measures;\nClinical and cognitive assessments.\n\nThe aim is to develop integrative analytical models that capture the complexity of disease mechanisms by jointly analyzing molecular, physiological, digital, and imaging data.
