My name is Giulia Marcotto, and I was born on February 3, 1998. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology in 2020 and a master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology in 2022, at the University of Brescia.
RESEARCH FIELD
My research aims to assess the application of electric fields to accelerate and improve the differentiation and maturation of dopaminergic neurons from iPSCs, with the goal of improving the efficiency of pharmacological testing and the discovery of molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative disorders.
