Recycling is fundamental to preserve the environment we live in and it is a key issue in Technology for Health PhD program. Ario Fahimi, PhD student supervised by prof. Elza Bontempi, is developing a new method to evaluate the environmental impact of novel technologies for phosphorus recycling from sewage sludge ashes. This methodology is seen as an alternative to the more expensive Life Cycle Assessment, making preliminary analyses faster.
