BIO
I took my M.Sc. degree in Medical Biotechnologies in 2015 at the University of Brescia defending a thesis on “A study on the possibility of encasing genetic material into Extracellular Vesicles”.
RESEARCH FIELD
Sara’s research field is: Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanoenvelopes stuffed with RNA and peptides which represent a mode of intercellular communication. EVs started to be considered as functional nano-carriers for drug delivery. The aim of my Thesis can be framed in the international effort to develop EV nanotechnology.
