BIO
Giorgio received his master degree in Biomechanical Engineering from the University of Brescia. Before starting his PhD in Technology for Health, he worked as researcher at Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute in Bologna. His efforts are on gait analysis, tissue characterization and multiscale modelling.
RESEARCH FIELD
Giorgio’s PhD project focuses on the development and optimization of wearable Inertial Measurement Systems able to monitor people kinematics and kinetics in daily life conditions, in order to assess the risk of developing articular degenerative pathologies.
