BIO

I was born in Verona in 1997 and attended the Guglielmo Marconi Technical Institute, specializing in electronics. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications in 2020 and a master’s degree in Electronics with a specialization in Microelectronics in 2024 at the University of Brescia. During my academic journey, I developed a strong interest in the development of IoT systems or “smart” devices that can be easily integrated into existing systems, simplifying their use and improving performance, which is my area of research.

RESEARCH FIELD

This research project is critical for advancing the understanding of 5G technology and its infrastructure, which significantly differs from 4G due to its service-based architecture. The service-based approach in 5G enables numerous capabilities such as: Network Slicing, UltraReliable Low-Latency Communication (URLLC), Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), and Massive Machine-Type Communication (mMTC). Understanding these new capabilities is essential for optimizing network performance and addressing the challenges that come with 5G, such as increased complexity in network management and the need for robust security measures.
