My name is Elisa Moreschi, and I’m from Darfo B.T. (BS). Born on September 14, 2000, I graduated from the University of Brescia with a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology in 2022 and a Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology in 2024. For my Master’s experimental thesis, I focused on optimizing the use of a conductive polymer-based microactuator to set up an in vitro model for the mechanical stimulation of endothelial cells, simulating the mechanotransduction of the tumor extracellular matrix.
RESEARCH FIELD
My research focuses on deepening our understanding of extracellular matrix remodeling during cancer progression, particularly the role of receptor tyrosine kinase mutants in this dynamic process. To achieve this, I employ transdisciplinary approaches, bridging biomedical and engineering fields.
