We are pleased to present you with an oncoming course belonging to the PhD program in Information Engineering (DRII) at the University of Brescia. The course will deal with “Stochastic Processes and Performance Modelling“ and it will be held in Aula B1.8 (Via Branze 43) from June 30th to July 8th, 2021, for a total of 16 hours.

Stochastic Math is the language of Advanced Modeling and Performance Evaluation. This course, while trying to be very “light” in advanced math use, wants to lay a very solid theoretical background to tackle scientific problems that need to deal with non-deterministic phenomena, from bugs in software to errors in transmission systems, noise in electronic devices, disease spreading, the efficiency of medical treatment, and many more.
