I graduated from the University of Pisa with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, and then I obtained a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Campus Biomedico of Rome. For my Master’s thesis, I worked with transtibial amputees to restore sensory feedback through transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, designing a rehabilitation protocol and gait assessments.
RESEARCH FIELD
I’m currently working at the Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi of Milan, as a biomedical researcher in rehabilitation engineering and movement analysis. My research focuses on the application of technologies, such as electrical stimulators and exoskeletons, to improve motor deficits in subjects with neurological diseases.
