My name is Vlad Sebastian Popescu, I am from Brescia and I was born on July 17, 1997. I attended the University of Brescia, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology in 2021 and a Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology in 2023.
RESEARCH FIELD
The objectives of my PhD project are to establish a standardized method for phytoremediation of heavy metal-contaminated soils using hyperaccumulator plants and to identify the most effective plant species for removing different heavy metals from the soil.
